I survived M$ TechEd 2013
Jun. 10th, 2013 06:20 pmSpent last week in Naw'lins at Micro$oft's TechEd 2013 Conference. As I am not much of a partier or a city person, outside of the conference itself I ended up not doing a whole lot. This year's conference had quite a few good sessions on security, but sessions on things not related to storage in server 2012 were sparse.
In other (belated) news one of my favorite webcomics, Dominic Deegan ended on May 24th. It was the first webcomic I really got into and I recall the evenings I spent in 2004/2005 waiting for archive pages to load on Dial-Up. If it weren't for the move coming up, I would probably buy all of the print books. Lord Mookie is continuing his comicking with Star Power, which looks interesting so far.
Speaking of the move, it looks 99% likely that I will be moving to somewhere in the rough triangle of Ludlow, Ascutney, and Bridgewater Vermont in August due to changes in where I am supposed to be covering for my Job. It would mean I would have a bit more of a commute, but I would have quite a bit less travel on a lot of weekends.
